Our joint venture partners are Garacor Pty Ltd, who manufacture the electronic cabinets, and CBZ solutions who are mechanical fabricators who have fabrication expertise, and also supply fly ash handling systems into existing South African coal fired power stations. This joint venture has allowed Flowforce to supply the South African market with a cost-effective instruments using South African labour and skills with local support.

Flowforce’s involvement in reducing fly ash at the Kusile and Medupi coal power stations through the use of impact weighers is a significant step toward cleaner energy production and more efficient operations.
By using impact weighers, FlowForce and our South African partners helped monitor and regulate the flow of fly ash during combustion and ash disposal processes. These weighers allow for precise measurements of the ash produced, leading to better control and reduction in waste. Efficient ash handling systems reduce the likelihood of excessive fly ash emissions and improve overall plant performance.
